Fresh from the runway of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, comedy crossdresser Kate Butch has written a jukebox musical based on the songs of Kate Bush kind of like if Mamma Mia! had a nervous breakdown but now she needs your help to get "BUSH!" to Broadway. Join the 'great comedian' WhatsOnStage as she runs up that hill, with stand-up comedy, live vocals, lip sync extravanganzas and more cloudbusting than you can shake a stick at. Buxton Fringe Best Comedy 2017 and 2019.

Another high class show with so much inventiveness. Locques le roux is the perfect host - a triple threat. Dominus shines not only as a dancer but a Queen of Ideas.

Absolutely loved the show, full of fantastic dance and music acts, the occasional seat-wetting performance and wonderful costumes all round (which occasionally fall off...). If you imagine show girls (and boys) with sequins and ostrich feathers, you're in the right place. The stage is around 3 rows of seats, so it's very intimate. Particularly loved the in-the-navy act; the briefs don't leave much to the imagination! The lampshade, well, that's unique, to say the least! Compared to Bottoms Up (a similar cabaret show at the Old Stock Joint Theatre), this had a more cohesive theme (1920s-1945) with some modern takes such as the music. Both are fantastic, and I will happily attend them again. Other shows of similar nature don't permit photos and videos, and a few people were told off; however, the MC and acts were very much up for them being taken. Might be worth making it clearer, as I'd have taken some front row shots had I known! Likely see you all again for Halloween! For new visitors to the OSJ, it's towards the rear of the pub; there's a lift to the top floor or stairs. Two bars serve the theatre, so you don't have to use the main bar to get drinks. This show had two intervals and was around 2.5 hours in total.
